Blocking Functions with QIR
Dear All,
I want to know the functionality of quality info record in details ,Suppose i have three vendors for the same material in a plant then can i block the creation of PO & Scheduling agreement both if the quality info record is not made for 2nd OR 3rd supplier,Or i have to made the quality info record first for all three & then with the help of control key(INMaterial master) i can stop the creation of PO & S.agreement.Also there are two fields for blocking functions in QIR one is block function & below that is vendor block which is to be used for block related functions.
Furthermore how the functionality of Certficate control can be used for stoping GR through QIR if Certificate is not provided at the time of GR by supplier to customer. Pl help as per requirement.

Applying changes to UD’s using RFC
Hi
We are using rfc QIRF_GET_USAGE_DECISION2 to upload Usage Decisions from external system to SAP.
The upload process works flawlessly when sending new UDs to SAP.
However, we have a new business requirement to send updates to existing UD’s (changing of UD code: field QAVE-VCODE).
The rfc returns error:
0001 BS 007 I "Access usage decision" is not allowed (INL…….)
I’ve also tried BAPI_INSPLOT_SETUSAGEDECISION – but get same result.
It is possible to update UDs manually using QA12.
Any suggestions or pointer would be appreciated.

QC51 - Upload Vendor Certificate - How to retrieve the file?

I set up the repository to upload vendor certificates. The BUS2117 is a "Z" repository with link to table TOA01.
So...
In QC51 I used the option: EDIT - Archive Original
The original appears in the TOA01 table.
My question:
How I can do visualize the file what I did a upload?

QM View in material master
Hi Experts,
I need to maintain the quality management view for the newly created materials and also have to assign the characteristics to all the materials, is there any way to do it at mass without using bdc or lsmw, if any method is there pls tell me in detail, thanks

Change / reduce UD long text for documentation
Hi experts,
I know that I can force the user to write down acomment in material master in QM view by flagging field "Documentation reqd".
But do I have the possibility to change / reduce the text?

Inspection plan can not be assigned to inspection lot
Hi QM experts,
I encountered a issue that the inspection plan can not be assigned to inspection lot. Please see below test case. Hope you can give me some advises, thank you.
(1) Input the inspection lot in QA02.
(2) We can see the inspection lot status is CRTD, CHCR, SPRQ. And there is no inspection plan for this inspection lot.
(3) When I click the button 'Task list/spec.', it will pop-up a message 'No inspection plan could be found'. Please attention that the Key date is 27.08.2015, and revision level is 'AB'.
(4) I click the continue button to ignore above message. And I found the Key date changed to 14.11.2013 automatically.
(5) If I delete the value of Revision level 'AB', keep the Key date as '27.08.2015', then click the button 'Task list/spec'.
(6) After click the button 'Task list/spec', the inspection plan was assigned to this inspection lot. But the revision level was bring out again.

Error Message M3773 : Imported batch already assigned to another material
Dear All,
Recently i am facing one issue at one of client. They are using a raw material without batch management, but for the same material split valuation is activated. Stores has done GRN with valuation type Imported and now material in quality inspection.
Now when user trying to do UD, system throwing an error 'Imported batch already assigned to another material' Message no M3773.
Please give some solution.

Rejection code for UD of inspection lot.
Hi Experts,
Could you please suggest on the issue.
While doing UD for a specific inspection lot if i am providing the Accepted code then the stock is moving from quality inspection to unrestricted use, but when i am providing the rejection code system is throwing error " 100 qty incorrect posting to block stock." Deficit of BA unrestricted -use 100 qty".
Is it not possible without moving the stock to blocked stock only the rejection code will update in the inspection lot.

Archiving of inspection lots
Hello All,
I am doing Inspection Lot archiving, i follow all the process steps which SAP help mentioned.
I am able to perform archiving for inspection lots and some insp lot not able to do archiving which are older than retention period value.
This lots are with Status UD,CALC, SPRQ,SPCO, ICCO .
If someone face similar issue for some lots, if you guide me it would be great.

Stock in QI but no inspection Lot created
Hi All,
I completed 101 movement for a Material, the stock now is present in Quality. However, there is no inspection lot created.
in the QM view for the material in mm03, the inspection type is - GR(No HU) to QI Stock and 008: stock transfer inpection lot

Inspection lot inconsistency
Hi QM Experts,
We have encountered in a situation where inspection lot is created but there is inconsistency.e find below details.
1. In QALS for inspection lot all the fields are empty except inspection plan task list type, group and group counter.
2. When we display same inspection lot in QA03, we get error as 'Origin not found'.
We observed this issue for only materials with multiple inspection plans. We are using 'early lot creation' for 04 inspection type. Process order is correctly created. For materials with sinle inspection plan, this issue is not observed.
Please find attached screen shot of QLAS table.
This is creating major issue as stock is in quality inspection and we are unable to see the lot in any QM transactions. Hence unable to carry out the UD and move the stock.
Requst you to suggest us the possible solution at the earlist.

QP02 not finding inspection plan
Hi,
A colleague created an inpsection plan using QP01. I needed to make a change to the inspection plan so i used QP02 to change but i got an error saying no valid task list for the selected material and it asks me to creat a new Tlist(plan).
The plan is showing in QE51N and my colleague can change the plan in QP02. Why cani not see or change the plan?

Notification: ABAP dump while creating order from Notification screen
Dear All,
I get an ABAP run time error, while creating a Maintenance order from a IW21 Notification screen.
I have interlinked the Order type & Notification type in Configuration.
On Saving, it generates the notification number,gives a Message Notification type PM not defined and goes for dump.

Impact of deleting catalog code groups and codes
Hi Guys,
We have a requirement of deleting catalog group and codes associated with it which we will do using QPCD table (QS41 tcode) ,but some business transactions(notifications and service orders) have already used these code groups .
Is there any impact of deleting the code groups on those transations.If yes kindly suggest ways to prevent possible impact.

Auto Posting the Restricted Batch stock to Blocked stock type at GR
Hello Experts,
I have the following scenario:
The material is batch managed at material level.
An STO is raised between 2 plants/sites.A outbound delivery doc.(OBD)is created in the Supply site via VL10G.Then a 641 Transfer to Stock in Transit(SIT) (of the supplying plant )movement is posted against the OBD .Until this point in time the batch is Un restrited use type.
Due to some quality issues in any site/plant, the material batch is set to Restricted use via MSC2N.Since batch management is at material level , it sets Batch restriction across (incl. at the SIT ).
Once the goods arrive at the WH of the receiving plant, a GR 101 is done to SIT of the receiving plant/Site /SLoc.Though batch is restricted use at this stage, the Batch stock in the receiving plant is posted to the Unrestricted use stock type
But the client requirement is to automatically post the above 101 GR in receiving site/plant/SLoc to Blocked stock type when the batch is still in restricted use.
Question:Do you know if there is any enhancement /BaDi in MIGO GR 101 that can automatically post o blocked stock type when related batch is in Restricted use ?
Pl note client is running SAP Retail ECC 6.0

Turning ALE on and off
Hello All,
I am asking this question after considerable searching in the SPRO.
I understand ALE functionality conceptually. I'm encountering it real world
for the first time. I need to turn it off. I know its in the IMG... I can't find it to simply deactivate it.
Can anyone tell first, where it's located and additionally, can anyone tell me of any nagative ramifications i may be overlooking if I do turn it off and continue to create (in this case Methods) at the plant level?

Inspection lot not getting generated for GR
I have created a material with QM view and given the Inspection type as 01 for goods reciepts . Now after creating the GR for this material, going to QA 32 to see inspection lot for this material, it is displaying the blank.
So the inspection lot is not getting generating automatically for the material, i hav to generate it manually.
what m i missing????? PLs help.
