Changing Control inspection lot settings in QM

Dear Sap Geniuses

 

I have an issue for one plant we are STO goods into and we are also procuring the same materials off vendors. So 08 gets generated for the STO and 01 lots for the direct PO's easy. Problem is the one plant they are coming into is set up into 4 different Storage locations and they will always go into Pole 38 location before coming up into the actual production sloc so the 08's are popping up all over the place. Is there any way to change the control inspection lot to be plant material and batch based instead of material, batch and Sloc based. Any help would be great thanks.

End user getting a 'Please Enter Usage Decision' error in QA32/QA12

Hi Experts,

 

My client has a requirement that they have partially accepted a lot and now want to reject the remaining and they want to accept another 100% rejected lot. But these operations are not possible as it keeps throwing the 'Please Enter Usage Decision' error. The dialog box that appears after entering the Qty. in the Inspection Lot Stock screen does not come up. GRNs are pending for this reason. The end user does not have authority to run QA02/12/16. They anticipate these problems will keep arising. I am not of the QM module. Request you to provide guidance.

Some Materilas not follows the Quality Management system

Hi Team

 

Materilas which set for inspection flag, suppose to come to location called 902 with Q blocking, Incoming Inspection team will inspect the material and clear the Q from 902 location,It goes to warehouse directly without inspection completed
From 902 location, Warehouse will move to stock area Q23, Q24& other warehouse location.

For E.g, subjected part code KU2335 having inspection flag from 11thAug, but it doesn't obey the inspection system. There are 5 lots received from 11thAug, but only 2 lots marked as X has been followed inspection system whereas subsequent 3 lots not marked as F.

Pre Dispatch Inspection Of material from Purchase side.

Hello,

 

I have one client requirement ,they want pre dispatch inspection of material before delivery.Scenario is that they buy some material from vendor and vendor manufacture the product according to my client requirement so they want inspection before deliver the product.Please suggest the solution how to map the process in the system and what are the steps to do fulfill this requirement.

Increment for Assignment Number in Inspection Plan

Hello,

 

In General Inspection Planning Customization (SPRO) we used to maintain profiles for default values.

Under this we can maintain Profile: Default values Plan/characteristic.

In General data there is one option to maintain Assign.incrmnt.

If I press the F1 help on this field, it gives the below information:

 

Increment for Assignment number in Inspection Plan.

 

Use:

In this field you enter the default value for the interval, at which the assignment numbers in an inspection plan are created.

 

Can someone help me to understand what is the "Assignment Numbers" ?

System not asking quality certificate conformation while doing GR

Dear Gurus,

 

Need urgent help on this. There was a material in which procurement data was not maintained in QM view. Po  was created for the same. Now after creation of PO quality department activated procurement data i.e. QM Procurement active, Control key 0005 Delivery release certificate, and certificate type E22.

 

Now while doing GRN system is not asking Certificate.

 

I have updated  QA control key field in PO, but still system is not asking certificate conformation.

 

Please help.

Can any one help to understand when maintaining the QM view of material master for AFS industry , Should we need maintain the AFS QM view as well apart from maintaining the GEN QM view.

 

What is the purpose of AFS QM view how it help the QM processes.

Inspection lot getting created in Planning Plant

Hello QM Experts,

I am working on a cross plant planning scenario in which my Planning plant and production plant is different.

E.g My Planning Plant is A and Production plant is B.

When i am confirming the Process order of material the inspection lot is created in Plant A instead of plant B.

My requirement is that the inspection lot should be created in Plant B and after doing stock posting from quality,the material should be shown in plant A.

How can i achieve this?? Please help

Result Recording over a period of time

Hi,

 

This is regarding QM in procurement.

 

I have a requirement, where client inspects raw materials over a period of time and has to move the material from quality stock to unrestricted stock over a period of time, (say 1 month).

 

As per my understanding and the configurations done by me, after GR an inspection lot is generated. This inspection lot has the quantity copied from GR, say the quantity is 100pc.

Today I want to do result recording for 10pc and move to unrestricted stock.

Next day, i want to result recording for another 10pc. and so on.

 

Can I accomplish this with single inspection lot generated from the GR.

Inspection characteristic not closed automatically

Hello power users,

 

follwoing issue ...

 

inspection scope = 2 --> inspection characteristiv is not closed automatically

- 2 measurement results entered

 

inspection scope = 1 --> inspection characteristiv is closed automatically

- 2 measurement results entered

 

 

What may be the reason?

Result not recording after lot creation

this is related to my previous question .

 

now inspection lot is getting created automaticaly but when we record the result against the lot, error is coming Characteristic results cannot be recorded for inspection lot 010000000462.


i already created an inspection plan for the material.  what i m missing now???

I am trying to work with inspection points.

When I try to perform result recording for the inspection lot, I get the following error."Characteristic results cannot be recorded for Inspection Lot"

 

Message no. QE181

Next inspection date issue

Hi,

 

I am having issue with recurring inspection date.  Inspection Interval  date is 30 days and ecer after UD next inpsection date is not update.

 

UD is done 09/02/2015 and still its showing next inspection date as 09/09/2015  (MM/DD/YYYY).

 

I think it has to take UD date + inspection interval.

Auto Posting the Restricted Batch stock to Blocked stock type at GR

Hello Experts,

I have the following scenario:

The material is batch managed at material level.

An STO is raised between 2 plants/sites.A outbound delivery doc.(OBD)is created in the Supply site via VL10G.Then a 641 Transfer to Stock in Transit(SIT) (of the supplying plant )movement is posted against the OBD .Until this point in time the batch is Un restrited use type.

 

Due to some quality issues in any site/plant, the material batch is set to Restricted use via MSC2N.Since batch management is at material level , it sets Batch restriction across (incl. at the SIT ).

 

Once the goods arrive at the WH of the receiving plant,  a GR 101 is done to SIT of the receiving plant/Site /SLoc.Though batch is restricted use at this stage, the Batch stock in the receiving plant is posted to the Unrestricted use stock type

 

But the client requirement is to automatically post the above 101 GR in receiving site/plant/SLoc to Blocked stock type when the batch is still in restricted use.

 

Question:Do you know if there is any enhancement /BaDi in MIGO GR 101 that can automatically post o blocked stock type when related batch is in Restricted use ?

 

Pl note client is running SAP Retail ECC 6.0

Impact of deleting catalog code groups and codes

Hi Guys,

 

We have a requirement of deleting catalog group and codes associated with it which we will do using QPCD table (QS41 tcode) ,but some business transactions(notifications and service orders) have already used these code groups .

Is there any impact of deleting the code groups on those transations.If yes kindly suggest ways to prevent possible impact.

Inspection instruction print Pdf

Hello gurus,

i would like to print the inspection instruction using the standard Pdf form 'INSP_INSTRUCTION'.

I've customized CQ85, but, when i call the print from the inspection lot, system ever print the standard SAPscript, and not the pdf form.

How can i call the pdf instead?

QASE table Updated with wrong Dates

Hello

 

My problem is QASE table Updated with wrong dates.

 

I created Monthly process order and lot is created automatically via 03 inspection type.

 

Activated inspection point setup to record results on daily basis & able to record results by QE11/QE51n on a specific day.

 

But these dates are saving as system current dates in QASE table in Start date-PRUEFDATUV field.

 

Master recipe validity dates are well below the actual start date of inspection

How to make comments mandatory in UD long text after defined time period
