In IDES enviroment, I could not find any inpsection examples for inspection origin 07, 09, 12, 13,17.
could any experts has used these inspection origin, pelease give a hand.

I run MCXD report when i can not get results of standart deviation. What is the reason of problem ?
S162 table calculate mean value but it has 0 for std.

We have inspection lot created on 12.01.2014. Lot is in status CRTD CHCR SPRQ. For material we have two inspection plans. For one inspection plan Valid from date is 08.05.2014 & for another inspection plan valid from date is 04.05.2014. Material assignment is done for both the plans. Check boxes post to insp. stock., Insp. with task list, Automatic assignment & check chars are selected for insp. type in material master. In material assignment for inspection plan key date is shown as 09.05.2014.
When the user tries to assign the inspection plan by entering the key date 08.05.2014 system gives error No inspection plan could be found. Inspection plan usage is 5 & both the plans are released. lot size for both the plans is correctly maintained.
What could be the reason for error?

I am facing the issue with the QE01 tcode, while result recordning. My caracteristic has a "scope not fixed" indicator marked. I have the sampling prcedure n=1. While result record the system doesnt allow me to regitster more then 1 result. The "Sigle result" dropdown is blurred, not letting me enterring more then one result.
With the sampling procedure n=2 I am able to multiple the results as much I want.
I am not sure if there is any OSS Note for that problem, once I searched and haven´t came across any.
Anyone familiar with that problem?

I was wondering if it was possible to revert a material which is in the skipped stage back to initial stage of the DMR on a particular date.
I have been through various threads and have realized that we can get it back to the initial stage say after X no. of skips or Y no. of days but I am looking for an option where I can cause a part no. to revert back to initial stage on say, 1st of August.
Please do let me know if this is possible in the standard process.

Has anyone used change number to make any change in CWBQM transaction for multiple specification scenario?
We are trying to use change number @ CWBQM to change multple spec text/ customer number in material assignmenet tab and differents error.
Even when we change some thing with change number-1 (valid from date Jan 1) and then try to use new change number-2 (valid from June 1) then system does not saw few lines...Not sure how SAP has designed this functionality. How they expect to use such functionality?
Do you have any good link or documentation which I can refer about it?

We got a scenario to captur emultiple characteristics through MIC during inprocess inspection type 03. Basically we want to avoid creating multiple MIC's for single inspection.
I have tried to link MIC and class characteristic with batch class type 023 along with material specification based on some other posts. But didn't get the expected result. Appreciate your inputs on this.

I have an inspection plan with seven MICs. My client is doing result recording and closing the inspection lot. Once it is done, he print these details and provide the same to management. He uses the standard inspection report to carry out this task.
Problem is that user do not always enter all the results and therefore printing the report becomes lengthy because everything get printed into that. Other than that, they also don't want every detail which appears at the header level (like task list type etc) & along with the mics as well, as they are irrelevant for the management. They simply look for inspection characteristics and the values against it.
Is there a way to print the desired results and details only for an inspection lot?

I have requirement to block the payment if inspection lot (01 Inspection type) is not cleared by quality. Activated QM Proc active and maintained control key 0007 in material master QM view.
I rejected the lot, able to generate the Invoice for the purchase order/line item in MIRO with message as 'Blocked for Payment", but manually able to make the payment. I could not understand what config or steps are missing to Block the Payment incase of lot is rejected in QM. Requesting to throw some light to fix the issue which will be highly appreciable.

curently we are facing an issue of having to mass change inspection lotes when assigning UD code.
The senario is as follows:
using the tcode QA16 I can mass assign UD code for various inspection lotes using the option "in background". The requisition of the client is, however, to enter also a description text, for all the lotes treated. I an use the tcode QA16 and run a UD manual option, that lets me enter a long text for each inspection lote, along with assigning UD code. That is not acceptable, since there are daily hundrets of lots, we are talking about. That makes the manual option very time consuming.
Anyone had a similar issue? What I am looking for here is some exit, or other type of solution that allows me basically replicate the long text (the same for all treated lots) for various lots automatically. I was thinkig of QA16, making some necessary adjustments, but I not sure if it will serve for this purpose.
Any suggestions will be highly appreciated,

Hi All,
I want to build scenario based on Dual Control principle for result recording:
A result that has been recorded by one user must be processed by at least one other user for valuation and closing.
This functionality is avaialble from EHP4 for ECC 6 onwards and involves BADI. But I am not sure from where to start and steps to be followed. If anyone knows about same then any input about building this scenario is welcome.

I want to receive 100 KG of Material X from a purchase order: 95 KG to Quality Inspection Area and 5 KG to Blocked (Stock Category S)
For the 5 KG to be received to the Blocked Stock, I used movement type 103, the material was received to "GR Blcoked Stock".
Then I used movement type 105 to release it. I chose Stock Type "Blocked".
After posting, the material was received to "Quality Inspection Area" and NOT to Blocked Stock. I think the reason was the Inspection Type 01 was activated, so the material was received by default to Quality Inspection Area.
How can I receive a material directly to "Blocked Stock"?
