Results recording in QM

Gurus,

 

While doing a GR the system says the inspection lot cannot be created.

This is the message i receive


Diagnosis

The inspection lot processing data is inconsistent. An inspection lot can therefore not be created.

 

Procedure

To find the inconsistency, call up the function for creating an inspection lot and proceed from screen to screen.
The error messages displayed there will provide additional information why an inspection lot cannot automatically be created.

Note

You do not need to save the manually created lot.

 

But when i create inspection lot manually it allowing without any error.what is the issue here?

QA07_Recurring Inspection_Next Inspection Date_Based on SLED from Manufacturer

Hello guys,

 

We have some Raw materials for which we need to apply recurring inspection.

1. Inspection interval in QM view: 730 Days.

2. 09 Inspection type active in QM Setup.

3. Next Inspection date for Batch is calculated at the time of Creating batch i.e Goods receipt.

 

A. Manufacture has Expiry period of 730 days for Same material.

B. Suppose, manufacturing Date is 22.04.2013 so Manufacture's SLED is approx 21.04.2015 (is also recorded in GR Doc.)

C. We have done GR on 09.08.2013, So Next inspection Date for the Batch is 08.08.2015. Which i guess is not accurate at all.(Technically it is right though)

 

We want Next Inspection Date to get updated as 21.04.2013.

 

Is there any Solution?

CoA printing and Characteristics version

Hi all,

I have a little problem with printing coa.

In teh system is active the history for inspection characteristics.

 

I would make surethat the systemprints thecertificatealwaysinaccordancewith the versionof the characteristicsused in thecontrol lotthatI'm printing (in particular for description and limits).

I obviously do not wantto always createa new version ofcert. profileeach time Ichange the versionofa characteristic.

I tried to create a cert. profile without entering version at charatteristic level but does not work, for example, for thedescription of the featurewill always printthe lastactive.

 

Can someone help me?

Display of insp. point results in UD

Dear Forum,

 

We are working with phys. sample based insp. points.

In our old system, when doing UD in trs QA11, the system showed the insp. results of the last insp. point.

 

We are now moving over to another system and here QA11 shows the average insp. results for all insp. points.

 

How come? My user likes the old way of working.

Assign quality engineer to materials

We would like to be able to notify our Supplier Quality Engineers via workflow in cases of engineering changes to materials, similar to what we do for assigned Purchasing Group (buyer). I can certainly create a role which includes all SQEs and email them of all changes, but they would prefer to be individually assigned to each material, based on their sphere of responsibility.

 

Can anyone suggest a field in the material master or quality info record which might be used to assign a code for each inspector?

I want to remove pop-up screen when get clicked on result recording button in QA32

 

While result recording , i am facing unnecessary pop-up screen of inspection lot selection.

Catalog hierarchy levels

Is it possible to create a catalog that has more than two hierarchy levels?  Currently all catalogs have the Catalog Groups with the Codes for each group.  Is it possible to create additional 'drill down' levels in the catalogs?

When i created MIC i selected summarized recording option.While recording results the system is allowing to do single results also.How to prevent from doing single Results Recording.I am using sampling procedure.

Results recording not getting transferred to batch charachterstics

Hi Friends ,

 

I have followed following proces to transfer my RR to batch charaterstics after saving UD and stock posting with inspection type 9 but results are not getting transferred to batch :

 

1. Create a charaterstic in CT04 with data type NUM and char roup : Batch Characterstics status released .

2. Createed a class (type 023) with Cl01 and asigned above charc to it . :

3. Created a MIC (QS21 using the char created in step 1 .

 

4. Created a plan and assigned this MIC to it .

5. when recurring lot is getting generated , i m doing RR and then doing UD , stock posting . After that when i m going to MSC2N to check the values

in batch characterstics RR's MIC is not having any value .

SAP integration with Minitab 16

Hi,

 

We have a requirement where data updated in SAP should be transferred to Minitab 16.

Data will be updated in SAP using TCode QE11.

This data should be transferred to Minitab on real time basis.

 

Please suggest the options for this.

Can SAP PI be used as middleware?

Also, please share if QM-STI helps in this case and how it can be implemeted.

Inspection for food processing

Hi ,

 

Found a peculiar scenario for one of the upcoming plants of out client . It is food processing industry . The product is packed in packets automatically and every 30 minutes 2 packets are taken from the line and one is used for testing a set of parameters and the other packet is placed in the separate storage area.Once the packets are finally packed the entire lot will be released based on the result of the sample prepared from the different packets accumulated at the separate storage location . Want to capture both the inspection that is during packing and the inspection that determines the release of the samples. Any suggestions ?

Query in Physical sample drawing procedure

Dear all,

 

                         I am trying to do the "Physical sample drawing procedure" for Goods receipt with reference to Purchase order with inspection type 01,

 

I have created the Physical samples for "Goods receipt" for Primary, pooled and reserve samples in QPR1

I have created sample drawing procedure, sampling procedure with sample scheme

I have assigned the sample drawing procedure in the Inspection plan.

 

When I create the GR, I am receiving the sample size as given in the "Sample drawing procedure" . But  My Physical samples are not getting calculated while calculating the sample size for the inspection lot

 

 

 

My issue is

 

1. Whether should we use "Physical sample drawing procedure" only for inspection type 15 or we can use this for normal GR with inspection type 01 also?????

 

 

 

 

Please solve my issue
