Hi,
I am trying to delete a sampling procedure using QDV2 tcode. System issues message 'The sampling procedure cannot be deleted, as it is already used in an inspection plan'.
I checked in QDV6 tranaction 'Whereused list' for sampling procedure but ther eis no usage found.
I see in PLMK table . It displays assigned to a INspection Plan but deletion indicator is also on at the same time for this in Table PLMK..
How this samling procedure can be deleted?

I am stuck with a process when trying to post the stock to new material. After entering the results for batch X and doing UD when I go to stock posting screen,
1. I put the quantity in the tab To New material
2. I entered the new material, batch Y is generated automatically and when I press enter to save.
I get the error Deficit of BA Unrestricted-use 35 EA: MATERIAL Plant SLoc BatchX.
Then I checked the stock report and it shows that sufficient quantity is available.
Please assist me in overcoming this issue as I am just not able to close the inspection lot.

Hi,
I have one characteristic CT1 having no lower or upper range. I have created one Master Inspection characteristics as MIC1 with reference to CT1, so does not have any values. Now CReating one Inspection PLan IP1 ( t code QP01) with MIC1. By default there is no values are there and tried to maintain the lower and upper limit by unloacking the characteristics. But still greyed out.
Is there any way to maintain range in inspection plan in this situation?

At the end of month ,i should close all the production orders ,but there have many inspection lots are not ud.system shows us the error message co440 "Inspection lot type 04 for order XXXX does not have necessary status".. How can close production orders if the inspection lot not ud.

I'm new working on QM
I have configured a Quality Notification, all the steps seems to be working fine.
However, when I try to create a Credit Memo Request, directly from the quality notification, the information at header level is copied, but the information at item level is not brought over.
I have reviewed several posts and I have found out, that the SD functionality of copy control, does not exists for QM.
Can anybody offer some help?
I would ideally need to copy the information from the claim, into the Credit Memo Request (both at header -whicih is working without any problems- and item level)

we are now in Production system and we manage the manual batch, in the process order release the inspection lot create and when we confirmed the process order we put the external number for batch after confirmation the batch did not assign in the inspection lot 03, are there any procedure to assign the batch number automatic in inspection lot?

I have a quastion on the issue : attaching movement type to specific insp type orign.
I am trying to activate the process of inspactoin that is triggered by movement type 322 (from unrestricted to quality status)
I know that the standart functionnality is triggered by insp type 08. and the moovement type 322 is connected to the lot orign.
i created new insp type and attached it to the lot orign 08:
now i try to figure how i can define that the inspection lot will be created when i am transfering posting on 322 moovment only and not any other movements that is allso active to lot orign 08.
I attached the insp type to the material :
can someone advice me if it is possible to do ?
all the movements on the same plant.

Am working on PS solution which we know is part of SAP PLM 7.Am now interested in improving my skillset and was thinking of certifying in SAP QM/SAP EHS(have overview of it).
However,i have few doubts here.,like
1.Does SAP PLM 7 include SAP QM? If no,would it be included in near future.??
2.If SAP QM would not be part of PLM7,then would EHS be a better option(certification unavailable in India)?
I would like to understand from the experts if it would be advisable to invest learing QM given the way SAP PLM market is evolving(because QM is part of generic PLM process).Please advise.

Hello,
I’m using WF WS92000009, to trigger emails for notification task, and I’m facing some issues regarding the email send.
When task is added to notification, the event trigger an email to user task processor.
The SAP users for task processors are defined in partners data tab.
For this situation was expected that WF trigger an email to user defined, but the workflow is sending emails to other random users too, that have never been associated to the notification (they didn’t create or did modifications the notification).
Do you have any idea how it is possible to control this?

I want to know the QM-Notification process at raw material inspection, in-process inspection and finished goods inspection.
Example: what are the necessary configuration required, any additional add-on's or standard SAP will do...? Notification is created while RR or UD..?
Important field i should maintain for creating a notification..?
Scenario for Inprocess inspection is- say X product is manufactured (tolerance 10mm-14mm), if the specification exceeds 14mm and the RR is done under rejection, then how the notification is raised for the production department..?

Dear Experts,
We have added a new key combination (Material /Customer/ Trade name) to
assign the certificate profile (transaction QC15).
Here, trade name is a Z-field, added in structure KOMI.
I can see this key in profile determination log but without trade name value.
We are trying to use user exit QCPA0003 (Certificates: Fill new fields
to find certificate profiles) to select the certificate profile in
transaction Vl71/QC20 assigned to above key.
This user exit is not getting triggered for certificate profile selection in
QC20/VL71.
Is there other enhancement to achieve this functionality?

Hi gurus,
We've created a standard stability study in our SAP but it does not work according our expectation.
It was made all steps correctly and the JOB (transaction IP30) was scheduled.
The problem is:
There was a change in the Inspection Plan status, from “04 - Released (general)” to “01 – Created”.
The system did not take it into account and generated the Inspection Lot normally with status REL-Released.
In our opinion the system should create the inspection lot with status CRTD instead REL.
I was wondering if you could help us to identify any master data or customizing setting that could be missing?

Hi,
I have an issue getting a goods receipt posting (101) to unrestricted use.
In the material master the status it is set to quality inspection. On the other hand in the transaction migo it is set to unrestricted use by me.
Unfortuantely after processing, when I check the stock type, it is set to quality inspection. Therefore I assume that the setting in the material master overrules the settings I personally carried out by hand in the transaction migo. Is this the case?
If so, is there a way (e. g. setting) to override this? If this is not the case is there another solution to this problem?

Dear all,
Although this is not rare issue faced by sapers, still i dont get much document on following issue.
We recently implimented split valuation for materials.
The process with split valuation is going smoothly, but transaction QM01/QM02 having problem with said concept.
User created a secondary rejection notification by QM01 for a material which subjected to split valuation. PO and GR document also having valuation type properly.
When user going to post the stock of material from unr. to blocked stock through notification, system giving a message
Although no standard field found for valuation type in QM notification.
Kindly revert with solution for the same.
