COPY INSPECTION PLAN & INSP CHAR LANGUAGE

Dear gurus,

i have a question about inspection plan copy.

The scenario is the following:

PLANT 'A' (log on in English) has an inspection plan containing characteristic 'C1'. The short text for this characteristic is defined in English and Chinese. The inspection plan for plant 'A' has been created in English.

PLANT 'B' (log on in Chinese) wants to copy using QP01 (the standard coping function) the inspection plan from 'A'. After the copy, the short text of the characteristic, also if defined in chines, is copied in English.

Is there a way (standard or custom) to copy the characteristic short text changing the language (of course if it is defined) based on the log on language?

Workflow for QE51 to accept or reject materials

Hi,

 

I have requirement for workflow for QE51 Result recording to accept or reject the material the as is process is as below :

 

1: MIGO : Create GR

2: QE51 : Result Recording

3:QA11 :Record usage decision

 

The requirement is we want to a workflow for QE51 when the MIGO is done the workflow need to be triggered then after inspection user will just select Accept or Reject.

 

Is there any standard workflow this?

Inspection lot creation after 541 movement and usage decision problem

Hello all,

As mentioned in the title, I need 541 movement to create inspection lot.

To this goal, I configured T156SY and T156M tables as below( I may have done this wrong),T156SY.PNG

I also maintained the master of material with inspection type '05'.

Now after I 541 the material, system creates inspection lot, sends material to quality stock but, in QA12 inspection lot stock tab is missing. I cannot send material from quality stock to unrestricted stock by using qm.

What did I do wrong?

Report is not displaying

Hello,

 

I have a problem with a new report.

 

Under thetransactionSE80I havecreated and activatedanew program.


I can start the program with the direct processing .

 

If I call the program with the assigned transaction, then the selection material is displayed.

 

 

I choose the material and execute F8.

 

 

Nothing happens and the SAP main menu is displayed.

 

My program:

Long Term Inspection Indicator update

Dear SAP,

 

We have a scenario in which we not do result recording and directly perform Usage Decision by giving code A-CR Accept under conditional release.Then we all activity covered we do Result recording and Usage Decision again.For that we activated Long Term Inspection indicator due to which we able to do record the result after UD also.But now we have a issue that we already created inspection plan for all material in past,in which we didn't activate Long Term Inspection.So i want to know how i can activate long term inspection indicator in inspection plan at a time for all .As now i am dong manually.How i can activate Long term Inspection in same plan with out changing in original MIC.

Inspection lot for sub vendor?

Dear guru's

I am not able to create an inspection lot for the raw materials, the scenario is Clint have one vendor, under this vendor 18 sub parties are there. MM people have maintain vendor records, but they are not maintain sub parties records. Issue is QM department required inspection lot based on sub parties but MM people create po based on vendor. How do I create inspection lot based on sub parties automatically? Please help me.

Transfer Characteristic to SubSustem status '6'

Hi Experts,

 

I need some help in analyzing a LiMS issue. My inspection lot got the system status "MSUB" but the MIC's are having the initial result record status as  "1", picked automatically. Please check the screenshots below -

Please can you suggest if there is any program available to process these MIC's to set the status as "6" so that only interface can post the results back and then only this status will be changed to "5". With this system status "1" manual result recording is possible which needs to be blocked.

 

If there is something I have missed out in terms of config/insp plan/MIC masterdata, please suggest and help..

Issue related to QM Active

Hi,

 

I want to clear one thing i.e.

 

Material should have no open things existing (Orders, stocks, etc), before activating QM setup in Material Master.


Is it correct????

SAP QM - VcH2 / Vch3

Dear QM Gurus,

 

Transaction VCH2/VCH3 fails to process (with an error message) when ship-to 517930 is used and NO material number is included in the Material field.

 

When a material number or range of materials is added to the material fields, that do have Batch Search strategies for 517930, the transactions process appropriately.

 

Normally, this transaction can process with only a Ship-to.  SKUs are not normally necessary to include to the search.

 

Error :

Internal error: T XVAKE F DATENTEIL_READ_BINARY I MV130F0Z

 

Message no. VK067

 

Kindly Help me in this regard.

How to add & fill custom fields in POWL Query

Hi all,

 

I have a requirement where I need to create a new POWL Query and should show the Defect data of each Issue ID. I looked for tutorials and threads about POWL queries but can't seem to find the information I needed.


In details, I need a new query which should be available in NWBC -> Quality Issue Management -> Worklists. We already have one which is an overview of all Issues, but I need to create a new worklist which displays the Defect data of each Issue. (Please note, I am new to QIM and this is my first time handling QIM requirement.)


May I ask if you can guide me or if you know some links where there are steps how can I extract the Defect data? I also looked at OSS Note 1865206, is the steps for "Additional result fields" all I need?

SAP QM DMR and Material Revision Level

Hi,

 

Is it possible to combine SAP QM Dyn Modification Rule and Material Revision Level in Incoming Inspection?

 

Ex:

1. Mat X Vendor 1 Rev A first Good receipt results in positive Usage Decision.

     DMR for this Mat X Vendor 1 combination is defined to skip inspection for all the future GRs for Mat X Vendor 1 after 1 positive UD.

     Result is that 2e GR for Mat X Vendor 1 will be skipped and send to unrestricted stock.

2. Mat X Vendor 1 Rev B is delivered to the plant and needs to go through inbound.

     My company wants to assure that the change of the material revision level results in a reset of the DMR (read Quality Level) of that Mat X vendor 1      combination.

 

Question:

Is it possible to have a reset of the Quality Level when new Rev level is being received?

We know we can conduct this using the quality inforecord, but we want to avoid using this QIR because the change to "skip" in the QIR is a manual action.

Backdated stability study

Dear Friends,

 

 

My client receives the samples for stability incubation from
the different companies, where it had already kept for the stability study and
because of some of the business terms it transferred to our client to perform
the further study. Products was already undergone for the stability study, e g
testing for the time point 3 M, 6M, 9M and 12M is already carried out in the
sending plant and here it kept for study from 18 M to 60 Months.

 

 

Now our requirement is after charging in stability, system
should schedule the stability from 18 months time point only, as 3-12 months
stability study is already carried out. System is not allowing me to proceed
ahead and gives me error when I try to schedule in the back dated. We don’t want
to start from the current date as system will create inspection lots for 3-12
months which calculated from the current date, we want the system to schedule it as per our requirement.

 

 

Is it possible by doing some enhancements ?

Reversal Goods Movement with HU and WM from Usage Decision

Hi Experts,

Please help me to give solution for my case below:

My company create PO for material with HU + WM. After GR PO, inspection lot created and quantity receipt with stock type Q. Using usage decision, we transfer from quality stock to unrestricted stock (this step done successful). But the problem came, when we want to cancel material document of stock transfer from quality stock to unrest stock due to some mistake in PO data. I already searching for SAPNOTE 175842: Inspection lot: Reversal of goods movements from usage decision, but this SAPNOTE not working for inspection lot for Handling Unit.

 

My requirement, i just want to cancel Goods Movement that already executed for that PO.

Could you help me to find another SAPNOTE to reverse this Goods Movement or Give me some suggestion, so i can cancel this document.

Restrict workflow at item level in Quality Notification (Q1) when task Released (TSRL)

Hi Folks,

 

I am working on a business functionality. The requirement is to create work items at header level and trigger workflow when the task is released (TSRL). Further, the workflow should not be triggered at the task level when the task in release(TSRL).

 

Since the "Correction Tasks" in the ITEMS header and TASKS header screen share a same screen, the workflow logic is getting triggered when the Task is Released(TSRL) at header level in TASKS header screen.

 

Both screen fields data are getting saved in table "QMSM".

 

Can anyone help me how to restrict the workflow functionality at Items level when the task is released.
