Notification User Status

Hi,

 

I had created the notification report, but in that report i fail to capture the user status Long text, The long text is not visible in report,can any one tell from which table we can captur the long text of user status.

Dear all

 

My customer would like to activate quality inspection for good receipt from production but according to the workcenter on which the material has been  produced. Which means that depending of the workcenter on which it is produced, the quality inspection will be active or not.

Do you havean idea on how to handle that?

I have activated inspection type 04 in material master but an inspection lot will be created for all production orders

Create inspection lot move data from mseg to qals

hello.

When SAP create inspection lot from MIGO,  I need to move mseg-ablad ( uploading point) to qals-yyfield.

 

In Migo we can have more than one pos, then system create differents inspection lot.

 

Is it possible ??? are there any user exit to do that ??? i see user migo's exist  and inspecion lot's create, but in both cases i don't see all data to read an and move it.

No "Inspection lot stock" tab in QA11

Hi,

 

Quality lot gets created for each Goods Receipt for material with Quality management active. For particular raw material we found that for last Goods receipt the quality lot got created as usual. But in QA11 we found that there is no "Inspection lot stock" tab whereas for the second last Goods receipt for the same material there is "Inspection lot stock".

 

What would be the reason?

Creating Manual Inspection lot for Partially Confirmed Production Order

Hi All,

 

I Have a production order with status PCNF, I wanna create an inspection lot type 03 but get this error:

Any Idea how to create Inspection lot without changing the order's status ?

Or even if it is necessary to change the status, what is the procedure?

Hi

 

I am currently going through the following message while assigning Inspection plan to inspection lot.

 

Internal number assignment for object QMERKRUECK (numbers are in critical area). Screen shot attached.

 

I checked in SNRO for the above object and found current NR status is 90132500 . Screen shots attached.

 

Now Please clarify me on the below points.

 

1-QMERKRUECK is Confirmation number of an inspection characteristic.That means more is the number of Insp characteristic in an insp lot, more will be the confirmation number , Am i right ?

 

2-What problem i am going to face when the number reaches the maximum value ie 99999999 ?  I guess the situation may be such worse that all inspection lots generates would be of CRTD status. Please correct me if i am wrong.

 

3- If its really critical then how to avoid this . If i would like to create new number range for the above object then how to do that as system does not allow alfa numeric number range .

 

I have already gone through the following links but still not getting the solution or not sure about the impact if i will follow the instructions as suggested by different experts.

No Linkage of Notification With Stock Status

Dear All,




For line rejection booking under F5 (customized) notification in SAP, we need to have the stock in the system. Then only booking is possible. Due to Just In time inventory, the stock in logical store are not available most of the time, which results in delay in line rejection booking.

So, how can we have no linkage of rejection booking with stock status?

Material Batch not displayed in QC22

Hi Friends

 

In QC22 am unbale to view certain batches. If a materials has 2 batches, i can see certificate in QC22 for one batch and not for other batch. Please advise what would cause this.


Inspection type 03 - PP/PI not creating auto inspection lot

Hello Experts,

 

I've read the Best Practices for PP and QM master data, as well as the BPs for Creating and Completing inspection lots.

 

I have 03 activated for my inspection type usage.

 

When the PO is released, I am not seeing an auto inspection lot.

 

Please suggest the troubleshooting steps to solve this issue.  Some are auto creating and some are not, but my QM MData is correct for inspections...

Serial Number error while posting UD

Hi all,

 

I am getting an error message "Serial number xxxx not suitable for movement type". "Serial number xxxx cannot be used here" while making usage decision for an production material. The error is happening only for the particular GRN. The GRN was done for 251 quantity and the problem is with 97 serial numbers only, for the 154 quantity system did not show any error message.

First I tried to change the status and update stock details for the serial number thru' IQ02 but there also getting an error message business transaction not allowed.

Could not change serial no. profile in material master as the particular material has open production orders. Tried to cancel GRN for the material but system is giving the same error "Serial number xxxx not suitable for movement type". "Serial number xxxx cannot be used here". Tried to do posting using the t.code MI10 but there also getting the same error "Serial number xxxx not suitable for movement type". "Serial number xxxx cannot be used here".

I tried to replicate the error message in development and quality system but could not as system is working fine. The problem occurred only for the select set of serial numbers and not for all.

When I checked in SCN got an sap note 1229108 in which it is mentioned that the error could be because issuing SL is not mentioned in the order.

I would like to know whether we can apply sap note directly in production system or not.

I am at client place and not fully aware of QA32 Transaction.

    

My client want to post one of it's inspection lot into
previous period (back date) before closing the current period.

 

How we can do this?

QA32 Athorization of Material Type during usage decision

Dear Expert,

 

 

 

I want to restrict material type in QA32 suppose we have 2 material Type ROH and HALB and also have 2 user Ab-01 or AB-02 is it  possible that AB-01 user arrange  MIN (Usage Decision)  only ROH material and AB-02 user arrange MIN (usage decision) only HALB Material. There is no any object to control material type in QA32 during Usage decision.....

 

 

 

Another scenario is that ROH material categories different  material group like AC ROH Material , LCD Roh Material,

 

No i want to arrange MIN (Usage decision) of same material type of two different user

 

Suppose AB-01 arrange MIN (Usage decision) only AC ROH Material and AB-02  arrange MIN (usage decision) only LCD Roh material....

 

 

 

Is it possible though QA32 T. code ????

Automatic Usage Decision - Query

Dear QM Experts,

 

I have activated the Auto UD checkbox in Material master for a material.

 

When I create a Inspection lot & enter all the characteristics in QE53N, I select all & evaluate.

 

If all pass, then after evaluation - the lot shud automatically change to UD status sine Auto UD selected ?

 

However, the lot is still in rel status till we manually change it to UD to post goods mvmnt.

 

Pls guide me how to solve the above scenario so as the lot automatically changes to UD status after evaluating in QE53N (provided all data pass).

Change the inspection stock of material xxx in QM only

Hi

Inspection type 04 is active for xxx. But when I am doing GR for production order or process order either through MB31 or COR6N I am getting above error " Change the inspection stock of material xxx in QM only". Diagnosis

You want to make a stock posting to/from the inspection stock. This is not allowed for material xxx because the quality inspection control has been activated by QM.

So no GR is possible.

 

WHat can be the problem and how to resolve it.

Pls note that 101 movement type is active for quality inspection.

Dear all,

need urgent help. I have initial stock of material in quality(i.e. stock uploaded by 563 movement type). Inspection plan is assigned for the same material with usage 5. Now i have created inspection lot for that material from QA08 with inspection type 08 having following indicator

'post to insp. stock', 'insp. with mat spec', 'insp with task list', 'automatic assignment', 'check char', 'Q-score procedure' & 'Control InsLot' for each item.

I have got lot created with status "REL" but no inspection plan got attached to it. So my problem is i am unable to do result recording for that lot

Hope i have explained my problem.

Please help me to solve this issue its very very urgent.

System Program Error (Dump) in QM12 transaction

Hi All,

 

I am facing problem while processing Quality notification task list using transaction code QM12 (Change list of task) system program error is coming when transaction is executed by applying filter criteria of Task or/and Task Code.

 

If the same transaction is executed without setting filter criteria for Task or/and Task code, it is running normally without any program error and displaying list of tasks correctly.

Inspection lot sample size is always = 1

All, I have an scenario I've seen in here but with no correct answer.

 

Here is the case:

(1) material has Buom = LK (link), production uom = M, unit of issue = M

(2) the Unit of Measure table in the additional Data area is :

1 LK LINK <=> 1 LK LINK

3,048 M m <=> 80,000 LK LINK

1 BOX Box <=> 80 LK LINK


(3) There is no sample procedure for this mfg item in the routing, so the production order qty should be the inspection lot sample size

(4) In the QM view of the material master, Buom is LK, Unit of issue = M, and the manual sample entries are not set

(5) For every production order released, the inspection lots for this material have a sample size of 1 M.  It doesn't matter how big or small the production order qty is, sample size is always 1 M.

 

All other materials with uom the same in all areas, have the correct sample size equal to the production order qty.

 

I'm assuming this has to do with uom conversion but I can't find where the problem is.

(6)  in Cuni, LK is in the AAAADL (no dimensions) option with Numerator and denominator = 1;  M is in the Length option with the same numerator and denominator = 1

 

Please any help on this will be great.

This has been an interesting thread, and it's circling around the issue I am having, but I can't tell if this thread answers my question or not.  I'll ask here so as not to proliferate duplicate threads:

 

I am in an environment where the business produces and tests finished goods in satellite plants and then moves them to a central DC via STO.  When I try to create COAs from the central DC, the COA program cannot find the results or specifications.

 

I had the idea to change the profile to look at the production chain (thinking the batch in the production plant was part of the production chain of the identical batch in the DC).  When I did this, the program could not find the correct specifications.  I have been messing with the configuration around the results and specification origins with no success.

 

I feel like this should be possible, but I can't figure out what I am missing.  Is SAP able to create a COA from a central DC for a material/batch that was produced in a satellite plant and sent via STO?
