Batch restriction during UD

Hi

 

In our SAP system, batch status management is active and we have activated e-signature for result recording and UD.

 

Now when we are rejecting a lot through UD, system is asking us to put the batch in restricted status giving an error message. Is there a way we can modify this validation through config settings?

Dears,

 

 

we just configued underdelivery and over to check the confirmed quantity and to display error when quantity falls below underdelivery tolerance and to display error when overdelivery tolerance is exceeded.

In COR6 its works when the tab is Quantity/Activity , but when i move to Dates tab the system not checking on quantities. Please advise.

Entering both Vendor Serial No. and In-house Serial No. in qlty inspection

Dear All,

 

 

One of my client's requirement is that they want to enter both vendor serial number and in-house serial number at the time of doing quality inspection for the material. I have checked in the SCN forum and found that Serial No. profile has to be activated in Material Master and then enter serial no at the time doing of MIGO. The assigned serial number is reflecting in quality inspection while making UD. But while doing MIGO we can enter either Vendor Sl. No. or In-house Sl. No. Can anyone tell me the possible solution for solving this issue. Expecting solution at the earliest

Need to see the Lower and Upper Plausibility values in the Inspection Lot Results Recording Screen

Hi,

 

I assigned values to the fields Target Value, Lower Specific Limit, Upper Limit, Lower Plausibility Limit & Upper Plausibility Limit in MIC. In the Results recording screen ( QE51N) I am able to see only Target value, Lower and Upper Limit. I am not able to see the fields - Lower and Upper Plausibility limits. I want to know whether I need to change any Control indicators or do any configuration changes   to ensure the fields and their values are displayed in the results recording screen.Thanks.

Dynamic Selection turn off

Hi Experts,

 

I think this is a simple one.....

 

I used the Dynamic Selection for Delivery one time. I entered the delivery number.

 

Now every time I go into QA32 it opens with the Dynamic Selection icon showing "1 active"..... the one that was entered some time ago.

If I don't remember to simply remove the delivery number, QA32 shows no results because it's looking for that one delivery....

 

How do I simply deselect the Dynamic selection icon as opposed to turning it completely off???

Vendor Batch in dynamic selections

I'm thinking about putting in an OSS note on this but I'd like to see if any other people see this same behavior.

 

In QA32, I can go to the dynamic selections and add "Vendor Batch" as a selection item.

 

In the selection screen I enter in a material number that I know has inspection lots out there and that I know has the "Vendor Batch" field populated in the batch master.

 

I then execute the selection and QA32 returns no inspection lots.

 

If I remove the vendor batch number from the selection criteria and rerun just using material number, I get many batches of the material.

 

If I put in the vendor batch number and execute again, no inspection lots are found.

 

I would think this is a bug.  Can someone else verify what I'm seeing?  I couldn't find any OSS notes on this nor could I find any discussion on this.  If it can be verified some where else, I'll put up an OSSS note on it.

 

This is a 6.0 system.  NO EHP 4.

Auto UD Program RQEVAI30 not running in Background

Hello QM experts,

 

I am trying to run the Auto UD program RQEVAI30 (Varient created in T-code QA10 for one XXXX Plant) in Background. Program is scheduled in Background to run after every 15 Mins. System is getting the inspection lot nos in this batch job after Insp. Lot getting created.

 

But after getting Inspection lot nos in the batch job, system is giving the error as mentioned below.

 

"No batch input data for screen SAPLSPO1 0500"

 

Same program when I tried to run in foreground (Using QA16 Transaction by selection option "UD in Background) system is giving the same error. Details of the error is as below.

 

"

No batch input data for screen SAPLSPO1 0500

Message no. 00344

Diagnosis

The transaction sent a screen that was not expected in the batch input session and which therefore could not be supplied with data.

Possible reasons:

1. The batch input session was created incorrectly. The sequence of screens was recordly incorrectly.

2. The transaction behaves differently in background processing in a batch work process than when running in dialog (SY-BATCH is queried and changes the screen sequence).

3. The transaction has undergone user-specific Customizing and therefore certain screens may be skipped or processed differently, according to the current user. If the person who created a batch input session is not the same as the person now processing it, this problem may occur frequently.

System Response

None.

Procedure

For 1: Either re-create the session or process it in expert mode. Correct the batch input program.

For 2. It is very difficult to analyze this problem, particularly in the case that the screen sequence or the display-only options of fields differ according to whether the transaction is being processed in the background or as an online dialog. It could also be that this kind of transaction cannot run with batch input.

For 3: Have the creator of the session process it. If no error occurs now, then this is a program with user-specific Customizing."

 

There is no issue in varient & data maintained in Varient becuse on DEV & QA server progrm is running successfully whereas in PRD server it is givng above mentioned error.(All data maintained in Varient is same on all 03 servers)

 

Please help me out to resolve this issue as it is quite urgent issue.

TECO status in QM order

Hi All,

 

We are going to use QM order to capture customer complaint cost through quality notification.  I can able to book cost and issue materials against order. My question is that after completion of all posting, not able to put the order status to 'TECO'. 

 

Getting message: The transaction 'Technically complete' is not allowed for  ORD XXXXXXXX, because no status is set to permit it. Message no: BS002

 

I tried in BS22 transaction by keeping all business transactions from Forbidden to Allowed for system status I0045 - Technically completed, but not success.

 

There are Allowed business transactions button in KKF2 transaction, Control data tab. How to get TECO status in this tab.

 

I am not using any user status profile.

 

Please help on this issue.

Movement type and inspection lot stock

How can i modify a movement type (a new one that i've created) that, when I use that movement (the same as 322) in MB1B, it creates a lot inspection with inspection lot stock?

Right now, it creates the inspection lot, but the inspection lot tab does not show...

How to upload the text maintained in an MIC of an inspection plan to the group counter of the same plan?Using LSMW?

We have a requirement to mass upload the inspection plan.But while uploading using LSMW we found that the text maintained in a MIC is not getting uploaded.For example if I have an inspection plan 12345 and the mic which is there in the plan is XYZ.

Suppose If I have maintained the text " My name is Sujit Kumar Prasad " in the MIC then this text is not getting uploaded when  uploaded using LSMW.

Calculated MICs across operations

Standard SAP has the capability to perform calculations using MIC results from within the SAME inspection operation.  The formula definition is constructed using the formula parameters defined in config.  E.g. A00010 + A00020  (measured value of char 0010 + measured value of char 0020).

 

I have a requirement to define a calculation formula that will get results for MICs that are assigned to DIFFERENT inspection operations.  A quick Google search reveals this is possible using the enhancement QPAA0001 which contains four FM's

 

·      EXIT_SAPLCQBM_001: Customer Exit When Checking Formula in CQ_BM_QSS_CONSISTENCY

·      EXIT_SAPLCQCL_002:  Customer-Specific Formula Checks in Inspection Characteristic

EXIT_SAPLQEEM_001:  Customer Function for Calculating Formulas in Results Record

EXIT_SAPLQPAA_001:  Customer Function for Formula Testing in SAPLQPAA

 

What I need to know is how to structure the formula to point to the relevant MICs in the specific operations required by the formula.

For e.g. CALC_MIC (operation 0030) = A00010 (operation 0020) + A00020 (operation 0050)

 

Does anybody have experience in defining formula's that reference MICs in different operations?

Auto Debit note for deviation in Quality parameters

Lets say i ordered for a material with 10% moisture. Now during QC it is observed that it has 12% moisture. Now based on certain calculations ( 2%*Netprice of material*Qty) i will raise a debit note against the vendor. Please suggest how to proceed with this scenario.

2 inspection lot for one order

Dear all,

 

For customer return, after doing  delivery  of the return sales order , in system 2 inspection lot is being created, in one all  details like sales order, customer number and delivery number is reflecting while  in other inspection lot   material document and customer  number is coming. This is happening only in customer return inspection lot.

 

Please note that we are using z inspection types.

Formula inside a single QM Inspection Characteristic

Hi all, is it possible to have a formula that will find the difference  for measurement nbr 2 minus measurement nbr 1, measurement nbr 3 minus measurement nbr 1, measurement nbr 4 minus measurement nbr 1, etc. in a single inspection characteristic?

 

If the measurements are .003, .004, .006, .003,  the frmula should be .004 - .003, .006 - .003, and .003 -.003.

 

Any feedback or reply will be greatly appreciated.

Skipping of QL char Result recording thru BAPI

Hi All,

 

We are using BAPI_INSPOPER_RECORDRESULTS for RR.

 

Its observed that in few cases, one qualitative char is not getting filled and skips for RR out of other QN and QL chars.

 

In some cases the same skipped char is getting filled for RR.

 

Verified the codes whether it is not containing any space. Codes are OK. This behaviour of System is not understable.

 

Can some one please guide/throw some light where it is getting failed?

Hi,

I am working on the scenario of QM integration with SD... now below is the requirement...when the Product returns from customer happens.. then inspection lot should be generated with stock going in to quality.... for this what settings I need to do and what is the process flow...

 

Is activating inspection type 06 in material master is enough ??? or any other inspection type to be used. what about any other config or master data settings we need to do....

 

Now is the below process flow works for me??.....

 

Return Sales Order creation - VA01

Inbound delivery Creation - VL01N

Automatic Inspection lot- QA03

Results recording and Usage decision - QA32

PGR (Vl02n)

Invoice ( wrt: Sales Order-VF01)

Unable to Call Up an SPC Control Chart

Hi,

 

I have read and gone through the help section, the manual and many posts here on SCN. So, the best way to get my query cleared is to lay out the scenario I am trying so that the experts out there can tell me what I am doing wrong or missing out. So, here goes:

 

  1. Created an MIC with the following control indicators and settings:
    • quantitative
    • incomplete copy model, released
    • lower spec. limit, upper spec. limit and check target value ticked
    • sampling procedure and spc chaacteristic ticked
    • single result and optional selected
    • fixed scope, no documentation
    • record measurde values, print, no formula
  2. Then I have created a sampling procedure with:
    • fixed sample
    • SPC inspection valuation type
    • without inspection points
    • sample size 20
    • shewart chart for x-bar selected (an explanation of which chart is used for what and which one in my case should be used, would be helpful, if someone can tell me)
  3. Then I make an inspection plan (task list) for a material:
    • usage 5
    • status 4
    • ceated an operation
    • in the operation I add the above MIC as inspection characteristic
    • also the above sampling procdure
    • add the upper, lower and target values (only spec limits)
    • then in the sample tab, I select master inspection characteristic as SPC criterion
  4. Then to test it out, I create an inspection lot of origin 08 in QA01
  5. Lot sizes varied from 5 to 30 etc
  6. Recorded results (single recording) in QA32
  7. Saved
  8. Now I checked the control charts in 2 ways
    1. in QA32 where I recorded the results: selected the characteristic and called the control chart. All I get is one point on the graph with a label stating the mean value of the single results I recorded. Nothing else. No chart.
    2. I go to transactions QGC2 and QGC3:
      1. specify task list type as inspection lot in qgc2
      2. status of chart as 3 as nothing shoes in the others or leave it blank
      3. execute, F8
      4. enter material number, plant, task list type Q, keydate default today
      5. when I click OK, a thing pops up with my MIC on it on a row. I select it and OK again
      6. Next screen is blank: No entries found
      7. In qgc3, I enter MIC, date range etc, hit execute F8
      8. the next screen shows like 3 rows but the message says no entries found
      9. The 3 rows say control chart number 51, 52, 53 wih the MICs and inspection lot numbers on them
      10. I select one and generate a control chart by clicking the call control chart button
      11. split screen grid opens up...shewart chartfo x-bar. blank grid. nothing on it. labeled y axis but blank x axis

 

Can anyone pleas let me know what I am missing or doing wrong? I really need urgent help. Thank you so much.

Copy of results from one inspection lot to another lot

Dear Gurus

 

A solution  is needed for  the secnario described below.

 

    Quality inspection lot origin 04 is created when our production worksheet gets confirmed.

   The materials are consumed thru backflushing with movement type 261.This is a zdevelopment.

   The production supervisor commits some mistake while entering which is identified later, the reason

   being wrong production version, or wrong material entered.

   Meanwhile the quality personnel has entered their test results against each MIC of the material having

   different batch nos in the inspection lot.

   To rectify the error , the production supervisor will be creating a new worksheet    with the correct entry

   and confirms the  worksheet , triggering creation of another new inspection lot.

  The quality people doesn't want to  re-enter the results in the new inspection lot if the material is same

  They want all the results of the old   inspection lot to be copied onto the new inspection lot against each batch.

  The old worksheet is cancelled and the material consumption are withdrawn with  movement type 262

 

   The results of th inspection lot(wrong)  should be copied to the new inspection lot created only when the users    comes   across this situation.

   tried doing it , but not able to succeed , because for each inspection lot entry, it is asking for the

  source inspection lot, and the results are not getting copied.

 

   Is there any way to do this only when required for copying.

Basic settings need to be maintained for qm in plant

Hi Experts,

 

When user trying to record the results/usage decision for the inspection lot, system is not allowing and saying that basic settings need to be mainained for QM in Plant.

We have checked the "Plant dependent QM settings" in SPRO, there the plant is not found.

Can you please guide us how to bring the plant into "Plant dependent QM settings". which setting is causing such problem,
