Document management - change objects links with locked status
Hi all,
I use SAP documents to store quality agreement related data. The documents can be linked to vendor or quality info records. When the document status is set to Locked classification cannot be updated anymore. But I noticed it is still possible to change the object links. Is there a possibility to lock these assignments as well?

Skip lot in Modification rule
Hi,
Can someone please explain the rule in the attached. We are expecting the quality level to change after 364 days to stage 70 but we are receiving in lots and the stage is not switching and staying at 60. Is there something i am missing here as to why it is not switching.
The idea was that on or after 364 days the next lot in would open for full inspection and this would be required every year. But it appears lots after 364 are not opening?

Stock posting opposite direction in QA11
Hello Experts,
During QA11 I am selecting(batch status) as unrestricted but posting in restricted. If I do restricted then its going unrestricted.
Note : If I maintain batch in classification then the problem occur. If I remove classification then its works as expected.
And one more problem is transaction code reflects as MSC2N. QA11 Should have been reflected in material document.
Please this is bit urgent and I have tried to debug several ways but no clue.

Changing an established batch number
Hello Experts
My question is posed from a QM perspective for an MM issue. I've read many of the postings herein as well as the SAP documentation to no avail regarding my question.
I have a batch in which SLED has expired.
I have a batch which is within SLED but is now sales obsolete.
The issue is not SLED, but material being obsolete. I'd like to change these batch numbers and include a suffix such as OB. Here in the forum movements seem to be the easy way but this for me is not an option. I do not want to move it via MB1B/MIGO. I cannot use movement reasons such as 551 and others. Please suggest how to accomplish this.

Validity date of inspection plan, mic
Would there be any impact by Inspection plan which has been created with later date as validity date than the Purchase Order, production order etc.,
similarly if the MIC also has been created on a later date than the Purchase order and production etc., what kind of impact, will it causes an error during QM Inspection production...
Pl. help to understand.

Create quality inspection lot from available stock
Good morning
to handle repairs on products in stock, I would need to make the stock not available for shipments and simultaneously give an end date for repair; I thought I could create a quality inspection lot by entering the quantity and the date of the alleged repair, but could not find the transaction that allows me to do this thing.
Is there anyone who has already solved problems similar to mine?

Inspection lot generation for specific objects from maintenance plan
Hi,
I have a scenario, maintenance plan contains several objects (for ex. functional locations) in the objects list of maintenance item. I know that system can generate one call object (work order with inspection lot) for reference object and objects in the objects list. But the requirement is the inspection lot generated along with the work order should contain specific objects only, not all the objects mentioned in ref object of header and objects in the objects list.
Is there any user exist or BADI needs to be implemented or configuration changes to be done for the above requirement? Thank you.

QM WM. Movement 321 to another Storage Type and Storage bin
Hi experts!!
I have created a usage decisión code; called OK which is associated with inventory posting code WMENGE01.
This code exekutes movemento 321 in order to move stock from quality lo released stock.
We would like that this movement would not be made automatically . Because we would like to do both:
1- Change stock type from Q to released stock.
2- Change from the storage type and storage bin in which it is placed now to another storage type and bin.
I though it was achieved just having this flag blank:
spro- Logistic Execution- Warehouse Management- Activities - Transfers - Define Movement Types-
I select our warehouse numbre and movement 321 ->
Post to same bin -> This flag is blank.
This is not the way as I see. Is it possible what I need?

MIC (Inspection plan) lower/upper limit with exponent (E-nn)
For inspection characteristic (e.g. Conductivity) I have requirement to specify and upper limt with exponent.
Example:
Conductivity <= 1,5 E(-14) (decimals set to 10)
After you press Enter you get:
System convert entered value to normal (non exponent notation) and you see wrong value.
There is no problem with values > 1.
Example:
2,5 E50
You can see big value in exponent notation

Hi guys...I am new in Quality management & the query is I am unable to get Required code group / code and short texts for selected set in QS51 & the same is maintained in QS41 & but not appearing code group / code and short texts for selected set for qs51.
I need to edit in new entries by copying the selected sets from QS41 or how code group / code and short texts will appear for selected set for T-code QS51.

Quality Info status column in QA32/QA33
Dear Gurus,
In one of recent requirement we received a requirement of user unable to view the Quality Info status as 1st Sample / Pilot / Regular / Self certified while clearing the Usage decision,further more they requested to show the Quality info status of the material in QA32 as an addtional column which is not currently available in standard layout.
Currently we have a Z program to view the Quality info status,I suggested the user to download the data and give as input in QA32 for which user feels it is a tiresome work daily hence requested to show in screen based on which UD can be taken by user.
Can anyone suggest a solution for the same.

Qualitative characteristic use in stability study inspection plan with inspection point
Dear Gurus,
I am new QM module, I am not able to create inspection plan for stability study material which have qualitative characteristic.
please detail me how to create sample procedure for qualitative characteristic which can be used with inspection point 200 at header level.
I am using T.code CWBQM to create plan, getting below error while defining qualitative characteristic.
Note - sample procedure - sampling type = 100 (fixed), valuation mode - 400 (valuation acc. to char attb.), selected - sample management, control chart - 121
MIC -selected control indicator - Sampling procedure, summ. recording, req. char, fixed scope, long term inspection, no doc., print
The sampling procedure is only suitable for SPC characteristics

Diagnosis
You can maintain a control chart in the sampling procedure BETA_ST. It can, therefore, only be used for characteristics which are marked as SPC characteristics in the control indicators.

You cannot select this sampling procedure.
Procedure
Choose a different sampling procedure or set the indicator for the SPC characteristic in the characteristic

Set default layout in QE51N ?
Dear QM experts,
I have created an new layout in QE51N.
I have set it up as default. When I open up QE51N, still the old layout is loading.
For some reason I cannot set the new layout by default.
One option would be to delete the standard SAP layout 1SAPQE51N, but it does not feel right.
