Characteristic Results Cannot Be Recorded for Inspection Lot

Dear Gurus,

Am new to SAP QM module.

Inspection lot is created while doing the GR from production.  And its status is already REL.  Now I want to do the Result Recording.  When i goto through QA32 for the result recording, system throwing error that:-

Characteristic Results Cannot Be Recorded for Inspection Lot

I have done all the setting which i have already known:-

1.  MIC created & assign Inspection Plan

2.  Lot having REL status now

3.  Done the Char Check in Material Master QM view

Then also system showing the same error.  Can any one suggest me for the resolving this issue.
