New notification type

Hi Guru,

Just I came accross to configure new notification type in Qm.

1)How I can configure new notification type and in which business this require to create new notification type?

2) Steps to configure a process of triggering quality Notifications through Defect  Recording. 

3)Can we create or make changes in Action Box,right hand side of notification.
