Our client has decentralized WM, HUs and an external warehouse which is set up as a different Plant in order to be able to manage transportation properly. But they often transfer from the factory to this external warehouse items which have been sampled but whose analysis isn't finished; if there were no WM or HUs involved, transaction QAC2 could be used to transfer the inspection lot (and its associated stock). Problem: if we try to perform the movement or transfer via MM or WM, we get the error that it has to be performed from QM; if we try to perform it via QM and since we're using HUs, it's also not possible. We've been searching for information on this subject but come up blank, we get information on performing these movements when HUs are not involved.
Do any of you know of a way to handle these movements when HUs are involved? Both warehouses are decentralized and managed by the same database; the HU identifier must stay the same during the move.
